New year new projects!

We have had a little visitor in the workshop this week, a knitted mermaid all the way from Chile. I wonder how she is finding it in Hebden Bridge as it will be very different indeed to what she is used to!

Chile is the longest country in the world, with the driest desert in the world. It has 2000 volcanoes with 500 of them being active and is home to 700,000 breeding pairs of  Magellanic penguins!

A popular dish in Chile is the empanada, which is very much like a British pasty, so why not have a go at this curried potato version.

Whilst I am in the studio thinking about deserts, penguins and pasties, Cathy is working with a local firm to customise some of their vehicles with leather handbrake covers and door handles.
